Scammed and lost a lot of money

I think this is the right area, not sure... but. Here we go.

    OwnedCore Name: ignariss
    Skype Name: parata412
    PayPal Name: Unknown
    Other Payment Method: No other
OwnedCore Scam Link: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/mmo-...-feldrake.html (Us feldrake)
    Other Sites Scam Link: None
    Middleman - No

I was about to sell this feldrake on a server... and I needed the money badly. The guy said he'd had reputation for successful trades and I believed him. He said he wanted me to give him the mount first, and I was a bit sketched out at first... but I needed the money. Badly. I give in and give the mount to him, as soon as he receives it he signs off and blocks me from Skype.

As for my mount that I lost... Does anyone know how I can get it back? I really need money in real life and I was hoping to use that to sell.

    unfortunately no =[

i got scammed 700K like this a while back and i ticketed blizz and made an excuses saying i was trading 700k on this server to receive 700k on another making the trade look legit.

There reply said i was trading gold to a gold farmer/seller and my account has been suspended for 72 hours and any further breaches will mean a ban of my wow license.

Sorry to hear that you really needed the money in real life.

I could be wrong, but getting into the pet market might help you.

I was super skeeved out by some of the reports re: one of the popular alternatives to Ebay.
However it might be better than nothing.

For example if you list pets or something similarly valuable on a site like PA.
I can't vouch for them but to make IRL money it might be safer to "test the waters" on a paid site like that,
a bit at a time, rather than lose all on a larger item like Thistle Tea or a Drake.

Back in the day I thought losing 4000g was bad, or having late payment for 40k.

nowadays the horror stories of trading make lots of former traders think twice.

i heard the AU players are a lot happier due to more relaxed property laws etc.
in USA it's much harder to make a living selling virtual goods because blizzard is allowed its monopoly on our work.

    food for thought...
some people here should lobby congress lol

Did you really think that somebody would pay $230 for a feldrake when the mount is constantly available for ~55k at that server ?

Edit: Sorry for that necro =/.
