Well, delete your character too and say that you were hacked, when they restore the character they might restore your gold too.

I'd like to thank you for your very helpful and not at all off-topic thread about your own personal hatred of WoW. Now, lets go track down some unicorns shall we?!
On-topic: It does suck, and you could attempt getting it back from Blizz albeit this is unlikely to happen it won't cost you anything to give it a go.
Definitely try Blizz for help. I came across a similar scammer. He actually asked me for a deposit in advance : /...
Make a ticket, play dumb. I bought 250k worth of gems from a chinese guy, played dumb ("but i thought it was legit" etc) and got my gold back. Easy.
You cannot do anything due to it being against the blizzard TOS to buy stuff with gold for items from the blizzard store!
You really cannot prove that you meant to buy something els.
Blizzard has chat log records and can read the chat logs from you and the scammer from the time of purchase.
So blizzard is not entitled to retrieve your gold back! But the player who did scam you will be banned for sure if that is what you were also wondering.
For next time do not buy scams like that. Game Time, Codes for blizzard store items and such! It can only lead to fraud
delete pls

If the trade was done through wow chat thats a start , Put in a ticket and let them know every bit of info , I got scammed for a mount code and my gold got restored
As somebody said act dumb, make a ticket and tell the GM you tought u were going to buy the ingame mount not the code for it, he asked for the gold first then logged off, will depend on who you get support from, but most GMs wouldnt care to argue with you on it so they just give it back.
Work Hard, Play Harder
Hi,
I had the same prob with the golden wow store dragon (but only 30k) and decidet its not valuable enough to do something. But he Told me some Stuff.
Now its to late (The logs are stored for 60 days) but for the future and other guys. 130k its about 65€ and i would piss of anybody for that shit. So go to the police and press charge against the scammer. The adress of the legal department (the police have to know it) is:
Blizzard Entertainment Europe Account Support
145, rue Yves Le Coz
78000 Versailles
France
For sure iv he used a procy, fake acc date and a game card it could failure.
I know some of you are thinking this is to much, but i hate ****ing scammers and 65€ isn't fun anymore. Thats a "crime"
Before time i sold one BoE trinket and I just open ticket and said that my brother deleted it and I asked if i can get it back. They give me new trinket so try the same story with the gold.
Never give gold for the code!!
