Been HACKED by my mate!!!

basically, i lent my friend my account so we could level faster.
he moved hosue and when he did this, he changed the email associated and the password.

i know, the username and the email adress it is registered to.

How could i possibly find out my password? anyone got any suggestions?

Well if he changed the email, knowing the pass won't do you any good. You need the SQ/A, if you have that you can recall the email from the WoW site and recall the pass after that.

If you know the secret answer, go to the wow site, click on change email, fill in username, fill in email address associated with the account and secret answer OR cd-key, and then change the email to yours, retrieve password and voila.

What I would recommend, is to make a new hotmail, then contact him offering him a MASSIVE price for that account, then hopefully he will accept, then just ask saying

"Ok, now before I send you the money, I need you to say the email registered to the account"

Or something along those lines.

This account has had too many e-mail recovery attempts. Please contact billing support at Blizzard Support to update your e-mail.

Yes. OR, did you register it at your name? Just send a webform to blizzard with your ID attached say that your account got compromised and you get it back. IF you also got CD key then it's doable, then you got more chances of retrieving even if you don't have the SQA or know the email on it. ID is always prioritirized.

U need to have SQ, and just tell them u got scammed. Give them SQA and then they will change ur e-mail. If u were OO then just send them a picture of ur ID and they can change ur SQ i believe. They can change about anything. If u got married and decided to inherit ur wife's last name, send them a copy of the marriage certificate and they can change ur last name.
