A first time scammer who just landed his first scammed account...

Hey guys. Well, I've been reading around this section a bit, and seems like the guys here are pretting damn helpful, so I'll ask a few questions at the risk of being flamed to hell....


Firstly, so, I've got a level 70 druid account on the same server as mine, but diff faction. Is there ANY way of transferring gold to my main (a level 45 at the mo) without the risk of being banned.

Secondly, if I log in, should I be using a proxy? Or could I just say I'm not the only user on my PC?

Thirdly, I don't plan to keep the account, because I wouldn't know how to play a level 70, and I don't want the prospect of someone recovering their account handing over my head...... So what should I do with it? I'm limited to an unverified Paypal account, so is it just easier if I change the details and rent it out?

Any help would be HUGELY appreciated....

1. You can transfer the money through the neutral auction house, even though you will lose some of the gold in the process.

2. You don't need to use a proxy to log in.

3. If you just want the gold, take it and leave the account alone.

Well thanks for the reply, but wont transferring the gold by, say, buying a noob item at a high price be a bit obvious?

Also, couldn't I rent it out?

I guess you could rent it. But no, you won't get caught by transferring through neutral AH, don't worry.

You're probably actually better off Xferring the char to another account and renting it.

I have 3 scammed 70's atm and I'm renting them all to ************...all it takes is a 5 minute conversation, and youll have money ($8-$10/Level 70) coming every day. As long as you dont log into the game on the accounts then they'll last months without getting banned...so you'll make a ton more money than if you sold it.
