If Blizzard bans one account for something such as this will they carry out the ban to other account son the same IP?

Public Enemeny, no they wont. However, if you scam on one account, open up the other in another window, and trade between them, they can see that both accounts were from the same ip. But no, IP bans are VERY rare.

As for ban chance. Well, put it this way, NEVER use this on your main account. But I got a scammed account in my email on Friday, I've been using it for the last 6 days, and it's not banned yet. So you can get quite a bit using this scam
