Gamecard scam

If this has been posted before, please let me know. Basically this is a variation of the turtlemount scam. Use your main or an alt (whatever you prefer, however successrate will be higher with your main) and say in trade "WTS gamecard key 100-300g", some kiddy without credit card will probably be very eager to buy it. Make him give you the gold and make him confident that you will give him the key afterwards. After you have got the gold, run off ^^

Good luck, I've made some money by doing this on my lowlevel hunter, but you gotta be lucky and make sure you gain your victim's trust

BTW, forgot to add, some people may ask why you are selling a gamecard key, make up a reason about that you want gold but don't trust goldsellers, or that you are quitting and had an unused gamecard that you're selling to give your friend the gold

Also I don't know if this is bannable, I suspect it may be though I haven't got any warnings yet

i did this but with turtle mount code and got banded on my main do it on another account

make a character also with a funny name with weird letters, i dont even know how to make em lol but i seen em and there harder to add to friends and trace

Hold down CTRL+ALT and then press a vowel.

you cam make funny letters by pressing alt and hitting 3 numbers on the number pad alt+147=ô and so on but a better way is to go into word and click on insert and click symbol and pick a symbol highlight it press crtl+c go in game and press ctrl+v to paste it where ever you want to (i know that probly half of u people know this so dont be anoying and yell at me)

It's different on my norwegian keyboard, I only need to hold down either shift or alt etc, but basically you only have to try different keys on the keyboard and you will find it

i know a guy who used to sell gamecards in game. would sell them for about 500g, mostly to his guildies. 500g for $30 aint too bad :P
