Fake AH gold buying: Way to make a little extra cash

Hey everyone!

I've been reading around this site for a while and decided to become a member and don't want to be labeled as a leech.

So, I had an idea that will get you a small amount of gold that doesn't require too much effort.

It uses the scam where you trick Chinese Farmers (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-sc...uper-easy.html), but you pose as the gold buyer to trick other people into buying worthless items for a marked up price, don't follow? Here I'll explain more clearly:

1. Create an auction for 20 uncommon, but cheap items, like pet cockroaches, or shiny apples. Make the bid and buyout both really high (1k gold or more), as if you wanted a gold farmer to buy it.

2. Send 20 more of whatever item you chose to an alt via mail.

3. Have the alt list the item on the AH for 10-40g buyout.

4. If a scammer comes along and sees the original Auction that's 10-20k he will look for the same items and if he sees your alt's auction, hopefully will buy them and re-list them.

5. If he does you just made a profit! Not much, but if you're strapped for cash, this is an option.

I dont get it.. Why buy and relist them, when you can just buy some of those items (since they are quite common anyway..) and put those on?

If youre so retarded that you blow 20k gold on some random items on AH that you think will give you more gold, then.. no then actually, no one is that retarded.

Because they may not know where to get them, or they may not be too extremely common, like 20 shiny apples. They are common, but there isn't a whole lot of them on the AH And he wouldn't be spending 20k, only 10-20g to trick a gold seller to potentially get 10-20k.

Why would you scam a scammer. IT WOULD BE A SCAMMER FROM MMOwned also. This the only site that knows about my AH scam. So this thread is telling someone to scam a friend from MMOwned. What an idiot.
