WoW database covering items, NPCs, objects, quests, spells, and zones. Also has current and Burning Crusade talent calculators, and an add-on to upload data

Each of these sites helped me be a very great player at the game including this one. I raided Every instance in the game with these sites in my hand.

make sure you substract the stats from the item part you want to look up.

example you wear a necklace with +50 spelldmg and you have 1300 spelldmg, you need to put in 1250 spelldmg @ maxdps.com

Elitistjerks is the top site for min/maxing theorycrafting. Maxdps is generally a bad place to learn from because it is purely scripts and it is better to run your numbers by yourself.

Another good tool for theory crafting dps -- Rawr - Home

More advanced GUI for showing upgrades and setting up different scenarios based on buffs. Although not sure how stable it's been since 3.0 so wait for an update if that's the case .
