Transfer gold from PvE to PvP realm?

I was just wondering, since I have a character with a decent amount of gold on a PvE realm, but want to boost a character on my pvp realm, would there be any way to transfer that gold over?

The other way around would be easy, I could just transfer a character with all the gold I wanted, but since you can't transfer from PvE to PvP it's a bit trickier.

I'm in the same battlegroup with both chars and I have people I trust on both servers if that helps anything at all.

One method I was thinking of was to transfer a char from my pvp server to the pve server, and give that guy the gold, then report to a GM that my account was hacked and my character transfered, but it might be a bit suspicious =P

Uhm, try to write on some forum that you have X gold on PvE server X and want to trade it for gold on PvP server X and also what faction.

And hope for some replies.

I've seen loads of such posts, even on WoW official forums.

Pure guess really, but couldnt you have a friend of yours sign up for say Warsong Gulch 5 on the PvP server, and you would also sign for Warsong Gulch 5 with your PvE character and trade him the gold in the battleground?
Might not work but worth a try.

You can't trade gold in battlegrounds, I'm afraid. Only consumables.

The only way I can think of is contacting some goldselling website and sell gold to them or ask them if they are interested in trading gold on realm X for gold on realm Y.

Aye, that's been on my mind as well. Question is how much I would lose out on it. I've looked at goldselling sites and usually they sell for 3-4 times as much as they buy gold for. Which means if I would trade 8K gold, I might look at only 2K gold for my pvp character. Really not worth it.

You can only trade conjured items in BGs, just tried your idea. It pops up in the trade window very fast, and then gets removed automagically with a message saying just that.

Cheers for the tip of trading via a forum. Might be worth a shot, if I had been more trusting
