Buying Gold - Safe amounts - How to

Hello everyone! I've never bought gold from a gold site and I'm not sure how am I able to purchase gold with safety regarding my account.
Before I continue, I already have bought the maximum amount of WoW tokens for my month so that is not an option.

I'm really interested in a piece from the BMAH. I have around 2Million gold but I wanna be sure I win that auction so if things go south I want to be able to purchase more gold.

My account's safety is my priority. Questions:

1) Is 1 million gold too much to purchase one shot? If yes, what are some good ranges of gold I can acquire without being flagged right away.
2) The account buying the gold is a level 10, created to snipe the BMAH for the specific item when the time is proper. Would it be ok to post 2 emerald whelpings for example for 300K each and transfer that gold through the auction house OR use a guild bank(have the seller join, deposit the money and leave?

3)If blizzard does catch me, is it a permanent ban or would there be a small warning(like a 3 day ban or a week ban)?

1) Ofc, even 200k its risk.
2) You can trade from auction (but u will loose %), gbank (also risky), trade (insane risk)
3) My friend get ban for 6month (first time buy gold), second friend buying golds 24/7 and didn't get any message from blizzard

If you dont want to risk a ban, just pay the premium and buy WoW tokens direct from blizzard.

First of all thanks for all the responses, really appreciate the help.

My problem is that I did buy all the amount of tokens that blizzard allows(thats 10 per month per account). I'm sitting at around 1.9 Million gold but I'm afraid that this amount wont be enough for me to win the item I want (Its the T3 warrior shoulders). I've seen them sell for less but I don't want to take any chances.

I'm guild transfering the character which has the gold and I don't want to waste that transfer by losing that auction.


Any advice on how to bit? Wait until medium or short? Bid slowly or once it goes slow start going big? I don't mind the amount I'm giving, I just care that I win the auction.

Thanks for the correction, I forum I read state 10 per month but I searched it within the limit and restriction section and it specifies 10/week.

Thus I doubt I will be buying gold from any gold sellers, thanks for the help everybody!

If that's not enough tokens you can always create another account and buy tokens then trade the gold to your main, they won't care about that.

I have been caught buying gold many times and each time they have just removed the gold. Generally, it just depends on who the seller is.
