so i just got banned today for 6 months due to botting, i decided to open a ban appeal, i explained them my account and game got hacked.
i always botted on a different country IP. and they told me the IP never changed. Now i'll open new tickets whenever they tell me
they can't unban me.

I used a VPS for this, like a completely new computer hosted outside of my country. how the fuck they are telling me the IP did not change.

And imagine if this actually happened if i didn't do anything, just showing how unprofessional they are. retarded company

Depending on how you spoofed your IP to another country, Blizz can still see the underlying IP address at times. Specially with certain VPNs. This happened to me a while back, and I kept fighting it. Eventually they provided proof that it was my IP and I really couldnt fight against that.

I botted on a VPS. like a virtual machine hosted outside of my country. like a new PC.
can they really discover my real IP through that? unless they ask the hoster to who connects to that machine.

Imagine if i really hadn't do any botting, just showing how unprofessional blizzard support is.

They are a billion dollar company with people WAY smarter than you working for them. You call them stupid and unprofessional when YOU were caught cheating. its like when crooks get mad at the police for arresting them when breaking the law. They do not owe you ANY explanation beyond what they gave you. You know you were cheating and so do they.

just from there they could have suspected it wasn't me, because i don't simply change country when i want to login.

There is nothing to imagine because it rarely happens for not doing anything, the few times it does happen most people can get it lifted because blizzard can see everything. The computer does the first flags. Once a customer contact Blizzard then an actual person looks into it to see if the computer flag was justified or not.

Would it be that strange that the game is running on your pc at the first place, using your CPU-gpu-memmory etc. and blizzard would use the local system to get info about its location? The use of a vpn is only masking the connection from the outside in, if the software you run on your pc is gathering info, say when you're not botting and not using the vpn, or simply by assessing the numerous log-files on a system etc, you would be exposed.

Hello long time botter here. There is a lot of proof blizzard is scanning your hardware ID and your RAM so a VPN wont make it completely safe.
Second they are really used to people using VPNs and saying "oh wow got hacked and they botted on it".

Make sure to signup for bnet on a different IP, and do not make payments with similar payment method as other accounts. VPS are perfectly safe (safest way TO bot), people are answering the wrong questions above.

yea that's why i find it strange they are telling me they have no evidence of hacking/logging in using a different IP
but they told me they're not lifting the ban, so there's nothing i can do

They will even link accounts used by the same credit/bank card. They will look at PC signatures, beyond just IP, even though they stated it was by IP.

The reality is that you got caught. It sucks, but not much you can do about it. You can try to appeal, but the detection software is so sophisticated nowadays, you are going to have a tough time.

yea, i'm aware they can track the accounts by payment method,
but i bought the games on a third party site, not on blizzard, so i just entered the key.
and i never logged in their site when i was behind a different IP. just on my real IP. but i also never botted on my real IP lol
