Can you use the auction house on trial accounts?

Yea, I think but you won't get whatever you bought untill you buy a FULL account

My girlfriend was on the EU trial up until today, she couldn't use the AH, so I don't think so no.

From what I can find online the limitations are:

'During the trial period, characters on the promotional accounts will be able to advance up to level 20 and accumulate up to 10 gold. Use of the auction house and mailbox, player-to-player trade, and access to the in-game chat channels will be unavailable for the duration of the 14-day trial period.'

But I recall a few other limitations not mentioned in that. You can't invite a player to group who is... I think more than 2 levels above you, you can only whisper to somebody once you are on their buddy list, basically the only chat you can use is local and if you can find a way of getting into a guild, guild chat too. You can't, because you can't use the mailbox and or trade.
