i tried ONLY grinding(just killing mobs) from 1 - 60 and it gave me a played of 8 days, while another i have lvled from 1 - 60 by smart questing took me 5 days played.
Grinding = killing mobs for xp/reputation/honor ect.
questing = doing the quests for items/experience/reputation/honoer ect.
farming = killing mobs/doing quests for items/gold/reputation ect.
the last two of your questions should answer itself.

Levelling 1 - 60 without quests...?

Lets take a look at the most common leveling strategies.

Botting: Grinding mobs, slow, tedious, but done while afk so it's good for most. Classified as cheating.

Questing: Requires attention by a player, faster XP gain, but since it requires you there, not as easy. Classified as legitimate.

Grinding: Grinding mob, slow, tedious, done while at the computer. Requires little thinking so it is easier to do in a way that repetitive tasks are...but seriously...why?

Records for 1-60 while questing are about 6-8 days played I believe. Going from memory not fact though, so I could be wrong.

Records for 1-60 while only grinding, practically unheard of. I would venture to say it will take you 20+ days of playtime. (Read 480+ hours of playtime.)

If I were you, I would seriously reconsider your strategy to one of the first two I presented.

If so, then it's probably a scam. Scam meaning it requires unreasonable amount of luck with spawns and relies on you dying less than 5 times total throughout the entire 96 hour run.

one good way to level up quickly is to continually grind instances.

especially Maraudon, Uldaman, and BRD.

I myself have gotten like 9/10 of my xp from instances i find its more fun that quests and then you can grind/quest while trying to get group for instance For instance when waiting to get in a group for lets say BRD you can grind some incendisaurs then when your group is full your only like 3 minutes away from the instance

Best suggestion: Dont just grind. Do instances and smart quest along the way. It makes it 100x faster then if you try to solo grind the entire way. Just my 2 cents. Best of luck.

Best tip: only do "gathering/killing" quests -- ie Kill X amount of monsters. Those are the ones that usually offer the best xp to time reward. If theres another quest objective near your killing quest mob area, its worthwhile to do it so you can go back with 2 quests done.
