I got this email from Blizzard...

Well Ive been using the "turtle mount scam" for the past few days. I have managed to scam 2 people for a total of about 1200 gold and some random crafting materials. I thought all was well I was using a separate account other than my main to do the scamming and then transferring the gold to my main account via the ah.

I just tried to log into my account and was given the "this account has been banned blah blah blah" So I go to my email and find this

The actions detailed above have been deemed inappropriate for the World of Warcraft by the Blizzard Entertainment In-game Support Staff. As a result, the World of Warcraft account has been given a 72 hour account suspension and will not be accessible for the duration thereof. This World of Warcraft account has also been forwarded to our Account Administration team for review of current and previous policy infractions to determine if further account actions, up to and including account closure, are necessary. Our Account Administration team will contact you with a decision once all information has been reviewed.

I am rather confused by this due to the fact is says at the top "notice of account closure review" then later it says I have received a 72 hour suspension and my account will be reviewed.....so whats the deal is my account permanently banned or do I only have a 3 day ban? I have only ever received 1 other 72 hour ban on my account thats the only other infraction and that was for selling gold but I highly doubt they had any solid evidence so thats probably why it was only 3 day.

Any info that some one may have to help clarify this I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah dude ur account should be only banned for only 3 days. The reason of the confusion is becuase both accounts that u used the scam had the same IP which blizzard realized and got possibly confused.

Well I got an email regarding the other account to and it was just the regular old your accounts banned for 3 days none of that your accounts under review and crap. I just dont get why it says the accounts closed at the top then later says 3 day ban then says the account is going to be reviewed. I am going to be pissed as hell if my account gets banned I have 2 hand leveled 70s on there...

Well...I just received another email it was along the lines of..."we are sorry this account has been closed we don't really know why exactly but we know you were doing something fishy your account information has been removed thank you please go buy a new account and start again"

No1 else noticed that Skrewdriver are a white supremisist band and that his avatar is a symbol for white power *******s?
I vote that this person be ip banned(if possible) as im almost certain we dont want ppl thinking mmowned is only for the "Master" Race

I'm not going to ip someone for a belief (even if that belief is wrong)
I would only ban him if he was being offensive with it.

If you have the same names on all accounts, aslo same email, they will easy find out the main account, and ban that one.

First off my avatar is a life rune is far from a "white power" symbol. And secondly Skrewdriver is a skinhead band not a "white supremacist" band. While some of the lyrics in his songs are pro white if you don't like it don't listen...I don't listen to rap music because I don't like how it degrades women, talks about senseless murder, and doing drugs therefore I just do not listen to it I dont bitch about it.

While I do consider my self a National Socialist and do believe in a superior race. I have yet to say one thing that could even be considered racist, prejudice, or offensive on these forums. I do not plan to either as this forum is for a video games if I wish to talk about my political beliefs I visit other forums where it is appropriate.
