Buying mats from a botter. Legal?

Can you openly admit in wow that you know the person you are buying mats from has botted for them all and not get reprimanded?
Has anyone gotten warnings or suspensions for knowing they're buying stacks from botters?

You should never admit it. You can get a ban for it, but they normally ease up when they realize you "didn't know" you were contributing to the disruption of the economy.

I actually used to snatch items from botters , bought plenty of mats with less than 20-30 silvers /stack.I once submited a ticket for an issue or something and asked the GM in the same conversation if I am allowed to buy those items knowing that they are using AH bot ( undercutting competition ) he said of course there is no problem in that as long as I don't use anykind of bot to snatch the items.

It is kinda the same thing, ask you friend to put the items to AH and you will be fine.

As in this stranger I'm buying from keeps bringing botting up or asks me if I use X myself and I have yet to answer I just change the subject.

I would think somethings up if subject changes so often, just tell them no... Why would you ever say yes?
