Well it was 5 months or so ago, cant remember but Blizz just released warden and the hackers went frantic. anyway my dumbass little brother wanted to conduct an experiment on what Warden actually did. SO, he conducted an experiment. he made two accounts, i had to pay for one >_< but i was interested too. so he created two accounts. One account he would play at home and not use hacks but kept a hack deep within the hard drive. the other account he played at his friends house and hacked twice every month, once in IF another in a remote area (he tried to get that account banned for experimental purposes) I monitored closely as i was interested too and took notes on the matter. Anyway, lets travel back to the present. just when most ppl on this website got banned so did BOTH accounts! thus proving the warden is scanning all your files and such. So here you go! a real reason to kill warden and well embarrass blizzard! there ya go i hope you like it!

Well, if the have the same contact info you will get banned, this goes for VISA card owner also =)

I have 2 accounts

I use WC hack on both of them but only 1 got banned. I play both accounts on same machine as well.

However, my accounts are under different names and cc info.

So yea, what you said might be possible... if someone officially has two accounts (ie under same name and info), and 1 of the accounts gets caught hacking, it might result in a ban for the other account as well.

I would be surprised if that was the case though

no, that IS the case, blizz states that, I forgot where, but they ban all accounts using that CC info

Actually my test consisted of two accounts with different credit card numbers. Different names. Different Emails. Different EVERYTHING!!!

its ID info, my brother and me our dad got us WoW account, he decided to hack and we both got banned (we played on diff comps), then blizzard after calling them up and talking to one of them unbanned my account,

Yes this same thing happend to me, I was on my friends account, he was on my comp though. And he thought it would be a great idea to wallwalk hack on the testsever (Stupid Idea). So he did then a few seconds after he turned it on he get disconnected/suspended for 72 hours. So I just laughed and called him a dumbass. So then I tried to log on my account and the same thing had happend for the same ammount of time.

They both had hacks on the computers. Blizzard scans hard drives. If they find something they don't like, then they ban you. You don't have to use hacks to get banned..

Blizzard isn't in trouble for anything. They can scan your computer all they want... they can ban you for anything they find could ruin gameplay for others. You agreed to their EULA.

yeah yeah i know... Damn Blizzard makes the EULA too long for us to care to read so they put something in it that they know we would never notice...

Like them? I don't like or approve of their ways of running a business, because I am a hacker at heart. However, when people make threads and threads about sueing Blizzard, complaining about Warden, etc.. then I will reply so they will stfu.

Hmm..
I'll have to check into it, but I was thinking they can't scan your hardrive, no matter what their EULA states.

I'm pretty sure there are some privacy laws that protect it, but it may very from state to state.
