While flying around i noticed a ginormous Alexstrasza sitting outside of the grim batol entrance i had never seen there before. Maybe im just crazy or phased into it but google provided no answers. Any thoughts?

During the Second War, Grim Batol was the center of all refining operations for the Horde's navy. It was also the main base of the Horde's dragon breeding program, where Alexstrasza the Red was kept captive and forced to produce red dragons to be used as mounts for orc dragonriders

Well that's nice info, but i asked a GM and she said it has to do with phasing in the area so this can be deleted

Yes, why would you delete her ?

There is a quest chain that takes place here, you are slowly gaining acces to grim batol through different quests and at the end you see alexstrasza and i think it was valestrasza (or something like this) + other guys.
So you might have not done it entirely and you're stuck at the phase where alexstasza is here.

From the looks of it, you somehow are phased in a cinematic. I don't remember ever having Alex look like that and being able to walk around. I think this is during her fight with Deathwing.

Yeha definitely. The strange thing is that this toon only did the opening quests to get the portal to Twilight Highlands and not a single one after that in patch 4.1 and she was never there on my mining/herb routes. However after the small update this Tuesday she suddenly appeared and i crapped my pants when i flew through her haha
