Wow keeps trying to patch?

I currently have my client up to date with retail patches (3.3.2 build 11403) and I have no problem logging on to a private server thats 3.3.2, but whenver I try to log onto my battle.net account it goes straight to the downloading updates screen and stays at 0%, the authenticator prompt doesn't even appear. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Im guessing you removed the "set patchlist" part of your realmlist?

When you use a private server, do this.

set realmlist someserver.no-ip.com

//set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

using that format makes it easy to delete the private server and go back to retail setup, same can go for multiple private servers.
