how to make those Cool recording tricks wow movies

Well i just saw this guide
    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-ex...ce-higher.html
    ill just sum it up

In the interface options of the game you can set the camera distance to a maximum of 30. With this script you can set it higher than that, but not higher than 50, because this limit is hardcoded since some patches.

    Code:
    /console cameraDistanceMax 50
There is also a way to go higher than 50, but this requires you to restart the game. Open your world of warcraft folder and then go to WTFAccount(insert account name here)(insert server name here)(insert character name here) and open the file camera-settings.txt. It should be like "cameraDistance 24.549988" and you can edit the number, an example would be:
    Code:
    cameraDistance 200
After you've done this, save the file, restart the game and log in with the character where you change the camera distance. But be aware of the fact, that if you try to zoom out ingame, the camera distance resets to your limit (30 or 50 with the script above). However, you can zoom in slowly if 200 is too much. I actually like this for making videos

    Have fun

I found out how to make some cool tricks with your camera.

These tricks are used in Baron Soosdoon's <<-(typo?) popular "Unlimited Escapism" movies.

    Well here goes

As in the guide says go to your wow directory then
\WTF\Account\(insert account name here)\(insert server name here)\(insert character name here)\
open the camera-settings file and in there put something like 300-1000
1000 is very very far and is all up in the sky.
300 is not that far but still far. its great for movies.

But thats not all, if you really want a good view go to your interface settings under "Camera"
    Make it look like this

    to explain
Max Camera Distance: Makes you able to see more stuff that is far away.
Auto Follow Speed: i think its the speed the camera moves with.
Camera Following Style: Put it on never, if you are going to make one of those nice scenes, where you are running on a mount and everything you see, is from a far distance and suddanly the camera goes closer.

Now you need to do so your camera moves closer in a fast and smooth way. this is not made with your mouse, but with your keyboard.

    Home and End.
Go into the game and try them. look how your view changes.
Find Your favorite "camera moving" way and press either Home Or End.
So now you log off and goes into your wow folder etc. edit it the way you like it. close it and open up wow.
ok now you should notice that your camera is very very different.

DO NOT ZOOM OR ANYTHING. THIS WILL BREAK THE VIEW AND YOU WILL NEED TO DO IT AGAIN.

Move your camera to a position you like, begin running.
Now press the opposite button than you pressed before logging out (if you pressed home before logging out then you press end.)

record it, put it into WMM / Sony vegas

add some nice music and there you go

Im sorry if i was hard to understand, i got headache and im tired.
Here is a video on how it looks

But yeah, we all know the ArcEmu team is pretty much a farce... unfortunately, it's a farce with a gazillion users. - Hellgawd
