Hidden Gilneas Village?
So I jumped off the divide in silverpine forest in gilneas proper, and started floating dead in silverwing hold.
As I did so I caught this image
That looks like an entire village down there. Maybe it is just generic buildings but the sheer size and number of buildings plus its weird
position is very interesting to me.
Now as I recall there was an undersea discovery by two forum luminaries which might or might not be this. I found the post and the video is gone.
I can't remember if it looked anything like this. The location seems to be different but it is very difficult to tell from the deathline perspective.
Dovah explored the area in a more recent video, however, he didn't put anything like this village in that video so far as I can tell.
I'd like to investigate this further but if there is some good reason I shouldn't then I'd like to know that. I don't require an explanation as to why: I just need to know an OC member would rather I didn't make a video about this.

Currently the only way to actually explore there is to use offline mode and to find a camera reset for beneath the deathline. You could instead use the freecam tool.

I think you were refering to tol'barad under the sea :
Azeroth’s Lost Secret - “Underworld City”
But it's not the same village here, I don't remember seeing this one before.
It is there, just the underwater area is massive and stretches for a huge distance. If you explore far enough you can find boats just chilling etc.

Hazzy-are you referring to Tol Barad or my picture?

Legendary
It's the normal village of Silverpine Forest, called AMBERMILL in the WorldMap, for some reason, you can see only the chairs are in the air in that place, but all the buildings was put down under the floor

Ah, the mystery is solved. How the hell do you figure something like that out? Nice.

Legendary
Just by simple observation ^^
When exploring that Old Ambermill place, we see the chairs only, floating in the air, but there are no building like some instanced exploration, but if you look at under the map you see all the buildings of this village and you can compare the buildings to the reals ones of the Old Silverpine Forest Ambermill village
You can see this in Caverns of time by exploring old hillsbrad Silverpine, but I think it's the sames buildings in the actual Cataclysm version

The buildings are above ground in the later phases although sticky walls are a bit of an issue..

Always so respectful and understanding of the bigger picture.
I'd give you all the +rep I could give, just for this comment... alas, I must spread before giving to advanta again.
As for the discovery, I was going to say "paging Dovah", but it looks like he's already posted his two cents.
From the pic I thought this was the same village we had discovered under the Worgen Starting Zone a while back (pics in the Random Exploration thread?), but he would have better recollection and info than myself. This old Wizard's memory is fading fast.
*edit: Found what I was thinking of... scenes from this video: Exploring Gilneas: The Worgen Starting Zone - WoW Exploration Patch 5.4.8 - YouTube
