I guess it wouldn't be nice if a Blizzard spy sees his name/realm and then tries to punish him. =(

But anyway, how is the "GM" part in your title connected with this?

He's not asking why it says "long time ago", he's asking why it says "GM"

The same thing happend on Shadow moon (EU) about 1 year ago. Was a tauren flying around in IF and noone could attack him. But he was not a GM. Since he posted on the realm forum that he had done that :P

It's called a bugged flight path, when this happens you have full control of your very on 'Flying Mount'. There are a couple of ways to do this.

1 - Duel a rogue
2 - Before the duel starts, speak to the flight master and get ready to take a flight.
3 - Get the rogue to Sap you.
4 - Take the flight.
5 - Number 4 was the last step.

During this time, no-one can attack you. However the time you have with this is most of the time limited, you will drop and rollback.

This is NOT a GM, it was a fad early on in the WoW days.

Except, if I remember correctly, you couldn't fly, it just moved along the ground and it was walking speed.
