[Exploration] Gundrak ramparts

Hi everyone !

I'm really interested by underwater explorations and so i decided to explore the Northrend waters (found nothing, mostly checked the drawings on the map) when i came upon this little exploration.
It's underwater and it's under gundrak ramparts. Nothing really out of the extraordinary here but i love texture patches and they are really beautiful there ^^
The video is really long and might be boring because
1 : It was streamed => can't edit flv apparently
2 : It's underwater => underwater speed is slow.
3 : First time i went there with my shaman so i didn't want to miss anything ^^

So you can skip/fast forward if you're bored and only want an overview of the zone.

First part (How-to + left underwater path)

Second part (Upper left side + right underwater path + Upper right side + Fishing spot)

At the end i'm just checking for holes in the ground but there are none

I think that new stuff should be posted on new threads and stuff like "new way to .." or "another spot to ..." should be posted on the Mount through wall sticky.
But if you think this exploration doesn't deserve a thread and should be added there, please tell me and i'll do it

This spot is wonderful. I absolutely love this area and I am looking very forward to checking it out on my own. And I agree with dank1one that it is inspiring... makes me think I should do my own underwater series. Seriously great exploration.

As for the video... yes, the fact that you use the streaming TV format and therefore can't do any editing is just painful. I watched most of the first video before I started skipping around... but when I opened the 2nd video and saw 25 minutes I was quickly turned off. Have you ever considered ditching the stream and just recording with a program like Fraps? You're such a good explorer and bring much to the table, but your videos are always a bit painful due to the lack of editing.

My main goal with this was to inspire other explorers to look out for underwater content. (like i said in my wow sharing account thread + dank1one thread + this thread already, there must be underwater undiscovered content out there..)
I'm very happy that you consider making a serie about it


And for the video i'm very sorry about the length but there are reasons why i never edit my videos.
First, i'm really bad with editing other than cut/merge two videos.. Tbh for me, adding a simple text for x seconds or speeding up a video is black magic
Then for me i find it better to show an entire zone rather than just small samples because if anything changes, then you'll have something to compare to and you can always skip foward if you're bored, i do it myself when i watch them. If i cut parts, I/you don't have the choice to skip things and i can't trust my memory to remember everything that was cut.
And again, this was the first time i went there so i couldn't skip anything because i didn't know what would be there ..

But i agree that this should have been atleast sped up a little. I tried and didn't succeed because of the flv format.
I'll fraps and edit my next exploration, i promise ^^
