[Hidden] Ghosts of Darkmoon Fair

After lot of dies in pvp arena, must wait 2 min before resurection. then I decide to explore a little with my ghost.
I see an NPC. never see him before :



We can talk to him

so I continue and I meet 3 others :

We can see them only when we are dead. Creepy !

Parce, this is a wonderful find. People always talk about finding ghosts and NPCs while dead... there aren't many in game... so just great that you have discovered a few so quickly in the new content!

So I went to do a little research inspired by the Quest for Truth: Explorers' League
There are a total of 7 ghosts on this island, each have their own story to share.
The ghosts can be seen as in 'dead phase' but alive only thing you can see is weird
moving 'dust'.

Franklin Jenner

"So many have died at my hands. I just wanted to escape those horrors."
"I was promised I would never have to encounter the horrors of war at the faire."
"The war against the orcs, there seems to be no respite."

Martha Weller

"So many people to tend to..."
"The faire is my family. I would never leave my family."
"I could never leave an injured friend alone..."

"My debt was almost repaid. No one was going to miss those last gold coins..."
"I didn't think anyone would mind if I didn't stay to help runt he faire."

I think these people were killed and are now being sold as food by this fellow here

She sells very suspicious good such as:
Gnomeregan Gnuggets, Beer-Basted Short Ribs, Mulgore Meat Pie, Stormwind Surprise, Silvermoon Steak,
Teldrassil Tenderloin, Troll Tartare. Forsaken Foie Gras...

A tree north to the vendor camp has cages with skeletons in them. Brutal? Rather funny I'd say.
Oh, and eating these goods all count for "Tastes Like Chicken" -achievement. Perhaps you haven't
heard it but human flesh is said to taste like chicken O.o.

This ghost information is fascinating to me. I am especially thankful that Xel brought up the weird moving "dust".... I have seen that on the island several times now (one in particular near a tree I was practicing climbing), and was wondering about it.... mystery solved.

So glad to see Xel back contributing his awesomeness to the Exploration section... there's always more to find! I must spread reputation before giving to Xel again, but I certainly will when I can.

I saw the dust as well… used an invisibility potion to check for ghosts (like in lordearon ruins) but didn't see anything. Should have thought about checking it out while dead -_-
