GM's can see your past tickets if they want. If they see that you accidentally bought S3 shield and waited 3 days to make a ticket twice before... They might notice.

I did this two times and the gm mentioned that there is a limit to how many times you can do this.

Yep theres a limit also it takes like 4 ****ing days on my server. Done this a couple times switching from enhancement to resto

They can see when you have used tickets/bought items/looted items/dced/chatted/etc... dunno

I just said straight up "I accidently bought the Vengeful Gladiator's Shield Wall and would like my points refunded". My account is up to 6 restorations I believe, so let's find out what that limit is

You need the actual weapon/armorpeice and then ask for the points back.

Can someone please explain it better than this genious? I have no idea.. do i destroy my item or just say i bought it by accident and want my points back? Wont the GM just detroy my S3 gloves if i do this

Yeah, its strictly for re-speccing, if your guild needs you to tank, switch to tanking gear, if they need you for DPS, switch armor. You WILL NOT end up with any more, its just a quick and easy way to change some armor based upon your current needs.

For those who do not have any idea of what he's saying heres the gist:

*You are a Druid*

You currently own a restro set.

Your guild/friends needs you to Tank.

You don't have enough Arena points to go buy tanking gear and you need it FAST.

Make a Ticket stating "When I bought my new Area gear I accidentally bought <Insert Name of current armor Here>. I am i need of a refund so I can buy the armor i was trying to buy.

Wait it out (Blizzard's Awesome customer Service :P)

Then the GM most likely will give you your points and take away the armor that you "Accidentally" bought.

okay i tried this. and my gm said he would let me talk to an item specialist. then i asked how long it would it take to restore my honor and he said likely several days.
