So Sylvia Hartshornsells a pretty kewl toy.


Using the Moonfeather Statue puts a statue on the ground. Standing by it grants a buff, which over time will turn into other buffs (advancing stages of the "Moonkin Fever").

Below are the stages of the fever:
Stage 1 - Moonkin Feather. Does nothing
Stage 2 - Moonkin Molting. This buff causes your character to "molt" feathers periodically.
Stage 3 - Feeling Moonkin. This buff turns you into a moonkin that looks like a Fallen Moonfeather with a reddish glow.
Stage 4 - Owlvercome wth the Fever. This buff causes your moonkin character to dance!



The absolute BEAUTY with this toy though. Is that it works on all NPCs! Sadly it has a 24h CD, but it is worth the 1 quality troll you can get out of it.
Basically what you do, say on Helya, you just put it down in mellee range and wait for luls to happen -

So the question is... does this work on any other raid boss aswell?

Today is our EN Myth raid and it would be awesome if we could get, lets say, moonkin Cenarius or Xavius?

I am definitely going to test it later, would be sad if it shouldnt work and the CD is wasted.

Looks like boss needs to stand still for a while so probably you can do it onsome bosses depending on tanks. Il'gynoth sounds great for this LUL

It could work if you stay infront of the boss for a while, as it takes 6-8 minutes for the 4th stage of the toy to pop. But I don't see why it wouldn't! Feel free to post results

Maybe I will try at Nythendra first, should be stationary all the time anyway.. just put it down b4 pulling or something like that.

Must be fixed tested in mythic when we had break going statue disappeared boss didnt change at all

Tested too, didnt worked.

Was done whithout pulling. Maybe that's the reason ?

Don't Think it would have been any different. I assume it's fixed as when i did it whole raid was on an 8 minute break whereas the i placed the statue just prior to the break so i had even more time to see if it worked. Boss didnt change at all and as Hoshiko said as well he tested it and didnt work. i assume even doing it whislt in combat would get the same result.

Please excuse my late response, I was very busy with work.

I tested this the first time last thursday, it didn't work.
Then again on friday and sunday. Never worked.

Not sure if I made something completely wrong or if it got ninja hotfixed last week.

I will update this post later when I am at home since I made some screenshots on how I placed the statue and so on.

Sadly, blizz hotfixed it. Worked once but doesn't work anymore.
