Fly with the gryphon freely

1. Must be Hunter(?)
2. Be in battle.
3. Talk with the flightmaster while being in battle.
4. Feign Death.
5. while you are Feigning death take fligtpath to anywere.
6: It now bugs up and you can steer yor Gryphon were you want

It doesnt move at the gryphon speed. But still cool moving around with a gryph I found this out in Tanaris today.

Update! You can fly under water without drowning! Tried to pass by "fatigue" but you will end up dying without even seeing that you lose hp.
You dont aggro. Other ppl can see you and your mount.

couldnt get it to work, went in battle, talked to flightmaster then went FD and took gryhpon... just acted all normal

Nope, it didn't work for me either. Is there anything I did wrong:

I attacked a scorpion in Tanaris.
Talked to gryphon master.
Feigned Death.
Asked to fly to Theramore.

Would the fact that the Gadgetzan Guards were fighting it too make any difference?

Ok

1. Attack Anything nearby
2. Wait till it comes to you and is actually doing damage
3. Talk to the flight master, if done correctly the map should pop up without him saying anything
4. As quick as possible, feign death and then click the nearest path
5. Gryphon gets bugged and you control it

FYI: When you feign and get on gryphon DON'T MOVE!!!

Ahh T-Bone got it to work again...
So I gave em rip and unlocked it.

i saw some hunter on a gryph yesterday....he said that it just glitched at the end of the flight and it had control on it lol

Yes, Some cases are exploits like so... but most of the time it's high latency lol. Last month I remember an undead warlock was flying around IF lol

I talked to a GM and he said that it was latency and that the lock couldn't control the bat... but I know for a fact that he was lying because of something that i exp. lol

I tried multiple times... I couldnt get it to work, also people kept ****ing attacking my mob and it would die, ****in pissed me off

i just killed the NPC's around the flightmaster guy so they wouldnt attack it lol

You'd have to be very fast and lucky to get the bug to work. When you FD if you're too slow you're out of combat thus being in combat makes it an extra step that would not be needed. I guess i'm wondering why you need to be in combat then FD since you get put out of combat and if you do it before you're told "You cannot use the taxi service" if you attempt to fly during combat.

I've seen people do it before, there are other methods because i've seen some in TB fly around on em...but this method seems hard to do and if you don't do it right enjoy your flight lol
