He took it off, he had the pvp ring on. People were saying that it doesnt say Unique-Equipped: Legion Legendary on it, which is why it was a possibility

This is incorrect as far as I know. It only allows two, not three.

Shard of the Exodar - Item - World of Warcraft doesn't say "Unique-Equipped: Legion Legendary (x)" but does count for that category. couldn't equip it with another before research

Probably its fixed because I got head and ring pvp on dh - cant eq ring while wearing head.

Yeah my guildies tried it when i saw this and they couldn't wear ring + 2 legendaries either.
