Karazhan reseted after getting the pre-legion quest "The Diamond King"

After I got the quest I went in to Karazhan instead of talking to Khadgar.

Did you kill him again to see if you received loot? If so, was it only after you turned in the quest that it got reset, or did it reset with the quest still in your log?

I killed him again and the other bosses. I got loot from all of them. I still had the quest that is mentioned in the title when I walked in Karazhan and killed the bosses for the second time.

Not working for me. I cleared kara, accepted the quest The Diamond King, went back to Kara, and the first boss was still dead. Are you able to kill the boss, drop the quest, pick the quest back up, and have it reset again?

EDIT: I even went so far as doing the entire scenario and checking back after turning the quest in, still nothing.

I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with it but I had also transfered my character from a server to another aswell as faction. That might have been the cause.
