Cross Realm 'persist'

Hi everyone,

There is a convenient add-on that players use to easily switch realms called Cross Realm Assist. It mostly works by organising your auto accept groups and you use one button to join and leave so that you can spam realms quickly and efficiently.

After joining a group, if you leave the very second it lets you, you get to stay on that groups phase indefinitely. This is until you decide to join and leave a new group.

This is useful for drops and quest credit not obtained in a raid group and you can continue to farm on that phase until you see fit. You can sit it out at a rare you need other players for and not be worried about being removed from the group or it disbanding. The phase persists through death, but not through declining a group invite from a random player, or starting your own group

It also doesn't intrude on the group if you instantly join and leave. So all in all a good find for the player base

Hi,

Anybody that uses Cross Realm Assist knows that you get one button to join and leave the group. If you leave the group the instance it lets you after joining you get to stay on that phase until you decide to join and leave a new group. This helps with going out of combat for drops not obtained in a raid group and you do not phase out. You also can sit it out at a rare you need other players for and not get kicked as you are not in a group. It also helps the groups if you leave instantly, so all in all a good find. If anyone else has posted something similar please advise and link it here.

It may be common sense to you mate but not most people as realm hoppers stay in group all the time, but doing this has more benefits than staying in group.

It's not intended but is a byproduct of the phasing not being able to catch up on itself.

After a day of farming MOP World bosses on a lot of 90+ alts, this exploit has been fantastic. Simply use Premade Group Finder add-on to auto search the chosen boss every 5 seconds (if 100) and join / leave groups constantly. Try to get invited into a group by anyone on the rare up phase (if 100) for extra success, or simply ghost the kill and tag it for the killing blows.

in my original post before editing I advised to link here if already posted as I'd be stupid to think this hasn't been around forever I just couldn't find anything about it but glad to bring it back up for people.

Thanks mate. I certainly wanted it linked here if it was out there.

After reading through the other post, people were having issues making it work all the time. That's where Cross Realm Assist helps.

People were struggling too as they were trying to use their second account. As somebody points out in the post, this only works on the right realms.

Use Cross Realm Assist and spam premade raids with any level char and it is 100% working all the time.

actually this is far from a repost as this thread has an actual add on that helps a lot better then a macro. Managed to phase three times and killed Krol the Blade and got a potion. Thx so much OP!
