Get Quest-items "while being in a raid" and phased

You know that you cant pickup quest-items (etc) when you are in a raid and that sometimes it s*cks, wanting to phase through different instances now with the help of the groupfinder and you land in a raid-grp and the desired item is infront of you?

For example the 10x Apexis Shard quests, easily done via this method.

And do you remember that when a mob attacks you and you leave the group you used for this phasing, you remain in the phased zone until you are out of combat, right?

This is how it works:

When you (accidentally) join a raid, you engange a mob, leave the raid and by being infight still remain in that phased instance, cc the mob and loot your item. It now counts toward the quest-goal.

yesterday did simple daily rare run (4 big rares) doing same as crunk001 said (just to get quest completed) but something ****ed up and i got phased instantly without looting corpse
so was a bit sad - like got saved and got nothing , but later i checked saved im or not and boom "it was flagged as not completed" and few minutes later i got mail with 100oil inside and could kill rare again.
so what i want to say , looks like kazzak's exploit with felblight works same on this rares but in this case oil+medalions or mounts.
