Anyone with a last name of Smith or Johnson or one of the common names could make ALOT of money with this. Imagine being able to sell fully upgraded heirlooms to people at 75.00 a pop. That is 50.00 pure profit for each transaction you do. Man... I wish I had a common last name lol.

Because if you just sell your account then you no longer have the heirlooms? lol I think you are missing the part where you have to first make the toon then copy the lvl 100 heirlooms to it, all of them, then transfer the toon to a separate battle.net account. You can ONLY transfer to that account if you have the same last name. Then you can sell the account or do whatever you want with it... but you still need the last names to match.

i got them all last night might test it tonight with a battlechest account $5 and $10 to transfer the toon and sell it for like $50-$75 or so if people would pay that much for it

No, that isn't what the OP is talking about. That is how it is supposed to work. He is saying you create a new battle.net and move a character loaded with heirlooms to that new battle.net. You need to have the same name on the new bnet though.

Well i did it and it didnt work. It said that "This char posseses heirlooms which will be removed under the transfer" or something like that, so i assumed that it would work anyway, but sure enough, they were gone when i transfered..
