Fast Black Temple illidan run.

You can use the item Aviana's Feather in order to Skip from the "Outside" area at second boss (Supremus) and go all the way to Council and skip the prior bosses.
I gues most people with the feather would figure out this, but decided to post as i gues it can be done in quite a few other raids where you are looking for loot from the last bosses.

Nah, my friend and I used to skip to Illidan directly, using a program called OHack, I think. Took us about 5 minutes to get in, fly to Illidan (No clip through walls), and kill him.
Easy way to get the glaives.

99% sure you need to kill Council in order to spawn Akama, so that he starts the role-play needed to actually make Illidan targetable/attackable.

it can be seen in raid lockout... so yes they can detect that, but the real question is... do they care?

Back in the WoW+ days, you could just easily port directly to Illidan and he was there, so yeah, he should be there if you skip all the bosses.

You can't skip all the bosses. At least you couldn't pre-6.0. 99.999999999% sure you still can't. You have to kill Council and talk to Akama so he will run to the top. Then you have to talk to him again to initiate the Illidan encounter. Unless something breaks when you skip council and he's already attackable or something. He didn't break before 6.0 though and you could not skip to him with hacks or anything. You absolutely had to kill Council to initiate all the roleplay.

Can confirm that this is also doable in Ulduar. Had to kill first boss then i moved to fourth boss(?) the Robot guy and mannaged to fly all the way to Yogg Saron

So it's really easy, just head to the left side and you should land up there by illidan. You don't need to kill the council either, Akam is just up there waiting.
