How to KILL any player in a duel 100% works (Warlock required)

This is my first post so be gentile please.

1. First of all get an Affliction Warlock (you need to be the one playing the Warlock) and head to any sort of raid testing dummies such as the ones in Shrine.
2. Duel the other player once it starts the Affliction Warlock must fully dot up the raid dummy.
3. Once fully dotted (and snapshotted if you care for the optimal damage to ensure they die) soulswap them to the player.

Even if you lose or win the duel, they will die if the dots persist past their minimum health and they will die.

Hope you Warlocks have fun with this one!

Totally fun idea thanks for posting. I can't get anyone to duel close enough to a raid dummy...they all seem to know this trick lol.

How is outright KILLING a player after a duel not an exploit? You don't win the duel, you actually kill the player..

I'm going to try this out right now to see if it works.

I just tried it, partied up with a dk, dk dueled a boomkin, went to exhale my dots on boomkin and says "invalid target".

Sorry if I didn't explain it very clearly :/
But your character needs to be an Affliction Warlock for this to work.

Nice guide, does it HAVE to be an actual boss-level raid dummy or will any target dummy work? (How about the transportable turnip dummy from Kun-Lai quests?)

I'm definitely going to have some fun with this, thanks for contributing! As for people who say this is intended, well the concept of soul swap may be, but he managed to not only win the duel using this but actually KILL the enemy player as well.. and for that +7 rep.

I managed to do this with a shadow priest

1. duel player
2. dot him with pain
3. have a ghost hit him when the duel expires.
