Easily doabe with a Mage / Druid Combo aswell just fyi =) have Druid spam hots, Druiid Displace Beeast through Walll, Mage Blink, Mount up in water etc

This method is actualy quite hard and grevious Frustrating when your 2nd person doesnt lag properly, / the mount or dismount doesnt work.

Oh it works, but turns out you need to mount/dismount on a transformation mount, such as sandstone drake, obisidian nightwing, etc. glad you enjoyed though. ^^

Also make sure the person "lagging" has atleast 60+ of the item in his inventory, that he's selling or the lag won't be long enough.

You can get banned yes, my guess is that if your account has never been in trouble youd get a suspension. But..maybe not. Blizzard has been tough with GM island, they dont like players getting there. Plus there is no way you can accidently get there..you must exploit the game to get there. Ive done some exploring and never got in trouble (upside down bodies room, the org candle vigil). but never went to gm island, im too scared to loose my account lol.

I've been there before, explored a lot back in the day using many different exploits, I have only ever received two warnings for that, not even bans, despite having been banned many times for other stuff. Once was for ticketing it when I got stuck in some random place and the other was for getting out of gates and early capping in random BG's (which I did about 30 times before ever even receiving the warning for it, lol.) I have yet to hear about anyone receiving any serious ban for simply going anywhere, even GM island, using "legit" means (so no hacking/model editing or completely gamebreaking exploits which this isn't), unless they got banned a million times before. I think the whole "omg instant permaban" is just urban legend tbh, feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken though

That's similar to saying why climb a mountain?,,,the standard response being "because its there".

Do you not see the attraction in doing the impossible, glitching your way out of azeroth past water, fatigue death, multiple invisible walls to access and accessing a completely inaccessible fortress of solitude that only the elders of Blizzard were ever meant to see? Or at least understand why other people might want to challenge themselves?

Exactly and also consider the fact that gm island may one day be removed from the game. Even if that's not the case, you're still NOT supposed to be able to get there, and getting there is a unique challenge and an exploration that's worth while. ^^

Yeah, I'd kill to be able to access the emerald dream right now, but that opportunity has passed as by and will probably never come back. GM island could well end up like that, as a kind of feat of strength for exploiters/explorers.

Additionally, and I hesitate to even mention this publicly, but there are certain properties of GM island, or rather the zone's its in, which make it very interesting indeed. I can't elaborate on that publicly or even privately, but there are practical ways to benefit for those who can get there.
