Hi guys,

maybe you saw already some giant kroshiks running around.

Here is how to do it.
Youll need a hunter and a rogue for this.

1. tame kroshik in his final big form
2. go to the mobs called greenwood tricksters
3. the trickster casts a spell to copy your appearance (in this case you let the pet attack and the trickster turns into the pet)
4. then have a rogue pick it's pocket with Glyph of disguise
5. Finally you can sky mirror the rogue

credits go to doom evony

and it also works with all hunter pets.
your size will be the size of the pet before it got tamed.

So I could do this with the huge spiders from Firelands? Or the big lava turtle? Or the fat worm from Jade Forest? There's too many to list here but wow i'm trying this asap.

Sat with about 10 tricksters on a friend's hunter pet for 15 minutes and they didn't once transform into kroshik, seems to have been fixed.

nope not fixed. just tried it
you just had bad luck

they cast one of 3 spells every once in a while.
either mirror image,grow huge or copy appearance.

you need to wait for grow huge + copy appearance for the maximum effect

I'm assuming you could also do this with mage elemental and warlock demons-pretty gamebreaking as most players instinctively won't attack pets. Your nameplate would still show above your head but it would be very confusing in a mass fight situation.

Trying. Can't pick pocket the Greenwood Tricksters. "No pockets to be picked".

My rogue friend kept seeing no pockets to be picked when we tried this.

I think we can assume this has been fixed, that's two reports saying they can't be pick-pocketed any longer.

Thank you for citing me for credit in this post. This username, which I just registered, is the name of my hunter if you were wondering. These mobs do indeed appear fixed unfortunately, they no longer seem to copy pets either, only players. I did save the Kroshik model on an alt but I only have 20s left on the buff so I am not bringing it out to test if I still have it until I am sure somebody is right there to copy him. None of my alts have the skymirror so I can't just keep refreshing it on myself. Will update later.
