Ghost Rezzing in Instance

I was running SM on an alt and was trading all the silk i had looted to my mate. We got the trade bug, where there is no window open but its says they are busy, and when my alt died he was not ported out of the instance to the GY, but instead could instantly resurect atop his corpse.

When it happened again there was a 30 second cooldown as usual, and i was able to rez again.

I agree that this is a server lag bug. It has happenned to me outside of an instance. I got killed and released only to have the "Resurrect Now" button immediately appear with no run back to my corpse.

get a net limiter - lag ur wow / ( if u dont want repair bill - simply get naked ... ) die in the instance. log off - at 1 second press release. if it works after u log back in ur gona be in ghost form right next to ur body.

I don't see why someone couldn't make a hack out of this. I resurrect in place all the time by clicking the resurrect button over my corpse before I go to the graveyard.

Net limiter does not create server lag, only client lag. This could work but i doubt it.

well maybe it works without net limiter im not sure but it only worked when i used it... tried w/o it - and it didnt work. maybe it was just bad luck

Nono i didnt have to do the whole log out and log back in thing. When i died my spirit just appeared over my body and Trade Cancelled popped up. There was no lag and the 70 who was running me carried on as usual lmao.

This happend to me and my raid grp on gruul, when we wiped we jus ressed agen, but when he got too 7% server died on us

so ye jus server lag...kinda

Well I wrote an addon to automate this to about 50% success rate, and it got nerfed before release. Both my latest tests, in Karazhan (yesterday) and Shadow Labs (today), have failed.

Basically, instances now seem to port you to the usual graveyards a second or two after you log in as a ghost.

I might be able to automate the "Resurrect now?" prompt to rez as soon as you log in, but I need to confirm that this was truly hot-fixed server-side. Has anyone else run into this same problem after successfully unghosting in an instance?
