Hunter...dead but not dead (Feign Death)

Hey there everyone, i'm here to share something that (I think) is pretty cool. If you use Feign Death and instantly DC (Alt F4), upon login you will come back "dead". You can cast spells, mount, etc, but you cannot interact with NPCs w/o getting the "You can't do that when you're dead" error message. You still take damage. Maybe a priest could ressurect you? Haven't tried a whole lot with this, but enjoy .

Alright so I tested this on my hunter. I'm not sure what's happening or if it is only client side since I didn't have any1 to watch me do it. You do take damage and die eventually, but I didn't get the option to release spirit, I'm just dead. When I relogged the game, everything was back to normal, I got ported to GY and had to corpserun.

Hold on, raid without IDs? This sounds way too good to be true. Gonna try this later tonight with Onyxia.

Just tested it on the ptr servers, very cool find.

I just did it and I'm on US. Just click the ability and alt F4, don't wait for your toon to actually look dead.

Still working, you have to time it sometimes.

Tested US server. Took two tries, but placing the feign death button on an easy button helps.

- Zoning (Portals, summons, instance) will undo the health. Hearthstones to same-zone areas (IE, any Pandaria zone, any Deepholm area, any Kalimdor, etc) will not remove the bug.
- Players DO NOT see you as a corpse, and you are not affected by res spells, including Mass Resurrection. Tested with four guildies
- As stated in the opening post, access to NPCs is limited.

Sadly, it's a neat visual effect, but limited to the player only.
