has anyone killed itoka since the servers restarted? would like to know if im wasting my time sitting here

Also, as an engineer as well, I killed him a total of three times and he didn't drop anything. I believe our items were completely scrapped, which is really quite frustrating. Also I'd like to say, that after the third time I killed him he did not re-spawn. (This was last night)

Repbait title and post. Blizzard leaved the backside cave door open since D1 of live so anybody can go there anytime. Theres some reports on killing Itoka on the first day but they never came with a screenshot of him. Show an armory page with a BS who actually learned the Lightning Steel or it didn't even happen ever. Just a post for exploration section. That much.

Just talked to a GM about this. He said Itoka was taken out of the game until a later stage because they found out people were getting the plans. He also said that those who "exploited the terrain and in-game abilities to get to Itoka may be getting in trouble" and "The dev team is talking about it." TLDR: If you somehow got the plans, blizzard might be taking them away and suspending you.

Didn't you see all the AH listings for the quest item that Itoka dropped? It was also bugged so that you could learn the patterns and the Ingot was left in your inventory which is why they were selling. Blizzard hotfixed the item to be BoP as a bandaid for now so that new people that didn't get to exploit Itoka can't continue learning the patterns.

Can anyone that got to do this confirm that blizzard also hotpatched the blacksmithing cooldowns? I only got two days of cooldowns and then couldn't make any more living steel.
