[5.2-PTR] Early acces to Stormsea Landing (warlock)

Hi all , this is my first 'contribution' so hopefully it's gonna be worth your time (did some search before on repost and didn't really find anything)

So here goes!

Since the Isle of Thunder opens up in stages, you cannot acces Stormsea Landing at the launch of 5.2

here's how to get to it regardless of the stage your server is on.

1: Spec demonology

2: go to this spot [Link removed, read on added part]

3: make sure to have Burning rush as a talent (i think sprint potion or engineer nitro boosts does the trick as well)

4: enable burning rush run to the edge of the sloap and jump + use demonic Leap


There isn't much to do on the harbor before there are any quests available but there are 2 rare spawns near the "gate-bridge"!

Unfortunately i didn't know about the rare spawn back when i discovered this (while the island was still partially closed). Now i took the pictures with the island completely open so i cannot say for 100% sure that the rare mob will be there when the island is still closed (there were normal NPC's that i remember)

UPDATE

I scouted the area more (this time the island was at the first stage!) and found that you can get to ITOKA <MASTER OF THE FORGE>, the NPC that drops the Q item to craft the new BS & Engi items (if you have the profession).

1. get to the Zandalari harbor zone (just like my original post)

2. Make your way to the beast pens area (with the dino's)

3. fancy jumping

4. done

PS: as said in my last post, this was still done on the PTR ( March 5th). i'm EU & my account is frozen for a couple more days (+ live realms offline now). So if any US person could test this on live to be sure it works, would be great. (but i'm pretty sure it should since it's the same built (being the 5th of march 'n all..)

PSS this character did not have 600 BS nor 600 engineering so drops aren't guaranteed

You should of really waited till 5.2 then released this
blizz might fix it before now

mm I think there's a fair chance it won't , since it seems the patch is scheduled for tuesday. but i'll keep it in mind! (i guess i didn't wanna get scooped on being first)

I'm updating this cause i digged a bit deeper and found that you can go up to ITOKA <MASTER OF THE FORGE> , the guy that drops the items that lets you craft the new engineering & Blacksmithing items!

This has been done on March 5 on the PTR. (so a big chance it's the same built as Live)

If someone of the US could test it on live, that would be great, I'm EU (Live servers offline) + my account is frozen atm.

Unless someone else killed them on my server, they aren't spawned yet ... normal mobs are spawned, though. Checking this again this night ...

Confirming working as a paladin with engineering. I used Speed of light + Rocket boots (yes they stack) towards the rock on the right side of your jump. I then used goblin glider and got all the way around into the new area. I can only imagine that this will work for any engineer.

i did this in a different method and the forge guy was not there although he was there before the emergency restarts last night

Just ran through the door using a x-realm friend as help. Kept running, left group and voila. Door despawned for a few seconds.

Edit: Can also run through the door while dead.
