Mage: Safely kill enemy faction in neutral towns

Hi all! My first post here. This isn't really an exploit, but "creative use of game mechanics" I guess.

It's easy as pie really. Go to Gadgetzan, A-52 or any other neutral town.
Make a portal to IF or wherever. Then pyroblast, fireblast, etc. Hit the enemy with all you got.
The guards will run to you, but you will have a window of 4-5 seconds to kill the enemy.
When you are low on health simply click the portal and *boom* you are safe.

if u do that and go there spending all that time getting there then make a portal then whats the point of porting like 30 min away agian?

True, this isn't the best strategy for fast honour.

It is just a little fun if you are heading to a capital city anyway. As a mage I have my hearthstone to A52, and I jump back and forth many times a day.

Yeah.. else it's good, better with paladin and mage actually they could be insane together.. divine shield and that divine assist or what it was :S

If you were in a party just for ganking , you could have a warlock summon you back.

ya but not everyones a warlock so its good to have different "plans" for each class.

been doing this on my old mage for along time, usta kill people at lights hope all the time untill they made the guards charge all at once and you didnt get a chance to port out :/

essentially it costs you 10s per kill unless you manage to get more in there quickly. (reagent for port)

Rune of Teleportation =/= Rune of Portals

Knew about this for a LOONG time, so situational that you will NEVER do this. EVER.

Maybe to that ONE guy who was taunting you for an hour and killing all your stuff, but 18s and a 1 hour cooldown if you decide to do it, woo, how great, GJ on your like, 19 honor.
