MoP: Collector's Edition FoS on normal MoP account after transfer

Hello there,

I could not find a similar post so I decided to write what I've noticed.

On my main account I have Collector's Edition of MoP.
I moved one of my characters to other battle.net account where I have only normal MoP version.

After transfer I noticed that I have FoS achivs from Collector's Edition on normal MoP account

Nothing big but still... :-)

Is it a bug? or it should be like that? What do you think?

So propably it will work with other Collector's Editions like WotLK etc.

Is the normal MoP Account on the same Battlenet Account?If yes its not a bug because AV´s are accountwide

I don't think it's a bug cause your chars got FoS achives from MoP CE on main account and when you transferred them they still got achives and propably all your other chars got them cause account wide feature

No, its different battle.net account with normal MoP on it.

right, but if you have warlord achiv on you acc and you move you character from 1 battle.net to other that achivs wont move with character.
It will move if you are transfering character that earn that achivs - but if you do you will lose your achiv from main account.
I think it should be the same with FoS from collector's...

I will check pet and mount after I will come back from work. Now I am able to confirm that I have FoS on both.

This is how the system works theseday's, every achievement is stamped into that battlenet account on log in, when you move character, the achievements that character earned stay on the first bnet account but are duplicated onto your new one, i've bought sor accounts from precious with old pvp titles, transferred to my main bnet account and both accounts have kept the achievements

If you search around you'll find blizz saying they don't mess with removing achievements since its a complex system

I moved a druid from one battle.net to another battle.net account, ended up with both accounts having Swift Flight Form FoS along with Immortal & undying, and yes- they were obtained on druid only.

In theory you could buy an account, get a name change from a service, transfer main characters to your account and never worry about recall since you'd have the achievements on your account

It'd cost you a bomb if you were into that sort of shiz of course.

I did the same thing few weeks ago and I received the FoS too but no mount or pet ..I contacted a GM regarding the achivements but not receiving the pet/mount


"Sorry to hear about the confusion. I'd be more than happy to shed light on the issue. With the advent of 5.0.3, mounts and pets became bound to the battle.net account as opposed to the individual character. And as such when you transfered the character from one battle.net to another, the pet remained on the old battle.net. This is working as intended and there is little the Game Master department can do to assist, We wish you the best moving forward."
