Transfer justice/honor points to alts!

Hey all,

Kinda new to posting, but I found out something that might come in useful gearing up alts.

Story:
Since a few patches you are able to send 'Battle.net account bound' items to your opposit faction alts. So I decided it was time to reroll horde and bought a load of heirlooms to send to him.

Now the exploit kicks in:
When you send a justice reward (I.E. Tattered Dreadmist Robe) to a character of the opposing faction, it will reset the 2hr refund function!

Tried this and had a lvl 5ish mage with justicecap. Not 100% sure about honor yet, but I supose it works the same (sorry for the theorycraft on honor :P)

EDIT: If you want the justice on a same-faction alt: buy > send to other faction > sell > buy new > send to alt on original faction

Just confirmed that it works for transferring to an opposite faction character. However, when sending back to the originating faction, it will NOT reset the refund timer. ..perhaps this is one-way only?

EDIT: I posted a long explanation about what I was observing, but disregard that. It appears that the timer only resets through the act of leveling. So if you intend to try this, you'll need to [buy ->send -> "level" -> sell -> buy ->send -> "level" -> sell] to get Justice points on the toon you want it on. ..or to simplify that, I'm willing to bet you can send it straight to a same-faction toon and level with it and see the same results. I might test this when I have more time.

Send a Justice Heirloom item to a level 1 alt then level with it in your inventory. I'm willing to bet you'll see the refund timer reset on it. See my post above.

I'm on US as well. Did you "purchase" a Justice Heirloom first then try it? ..or did you send one that you already had for a while with an expired timer?

Did you try leveling with it in your inventory first? ..that seems to be a development in this thread.

I'm on EU. I sent a heirloom I bought a few months in WOTLK (so timer expired a few years :P). That one resetted. Maybe it needs to be equipped?
