    [Exploit] Hunter combat trick

Hey guys. Have you ever been running through a highly enemy populated area, and get attacked and dazed off your mount?

Well, when you get dismounted, your pet is automatically spawned with you, and you are forced to fight the mob that attacked you.

Well, to get out of this, this is what you need to do:

    First:
Feign death and let your pet get all the aggro.
    Second:
After your pet has all the aggro, put your pet on passive and click on your mount. You will automatically mount up, and your pet will despawn!
    Third:
    Run away!

Hope this trick helps you guys. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to post them here or send me a PM!

you forget to "passive" your pet after getting aggro. common sense for hunters
edit: it would be better to put this into guide section imo

Ah, good catch wktjim. And I don't think it is common sense. I just realized it a few days ago.

    ...

If your pet is in combat doesnt mean that you enter combat as well? therefore you wont be able to mount. Idk tho i might be wrong. just wondering...

Nope, if your pet is on passive, it will work out perfectly. Working in 2.4.3 as well.

Set pet on passive, FD, THEN quickly mount up. You have a mere second before you enter combat again... so ya gotta be quick.

Or to just make it 5 times faster, simply put your pet on passive to begin with so if you DO get agro you can FD and the mob sill simply run back to where it came from.

Or, for low lvls just make pet get aggro, put on cheetah and run untill u are to far away and ur pet will be automaticly dissmissed and u lose aggro... Then u can just whistle for him and hes next to u without aggro...

I've lost faith in the exploit community. It's certainly not an exploit. You let pet attack = ur in combat anyhow. Pet on passive = feign away

I tend to allways have my pet on passive due to the fact that when allies attack me in IoQD my pet attacks them and I die and boom duribility loss. But grats for noticing this your self I myself have known this for about a year. Really helpfull instead of running around mobs.
