YOU will stay in combat, not the rogue who is kiteing you and going restealth. You cannot be sapped, but the rogue can go out of stealth etc.

Simple way to put it:

Bandaging before you drop combat resets the out of combat timer. Meaning your opponent will be stuck in combat while you bandage +6 seconds after.

This is an old bug blizzard is aware of and common knowledge to a lot of pvpers. I believe it was even showcased in one of Neilyo's pvp movies over on warcraftmovies a while back.

stuff you do to keep yourself in combat has not effect on others. YOU might stay in combat, but that rogue that was attacking you and ran off will restealth just as quickly as always, unless you shoot / throw a spell at him.

Seems useless if it doesn't keep the other player in combat.. Why would you keep yourself in combat?

Why would you want to stay in combat?...Because as a healer, with no mana, that makes pefect sense.....????
