I know that it must have happened to u that when leaving Booty Bay or Ratchet some stinky Horde Rogue ganked u in the boat! Ok... So if u don't release and remain until the boat arrives from one point to another u will be healthy as ever! Works on all boats...

he means, you get killed on the boat, and the screen just sits there and asks if you want to release. You wait until you get to your destination before you release, and it will take you to the spirit heal there, rather than on the other side :P
