    [Useless] Make Wyverns Go Slower

    If you want to make a wyvern go slower you type /doh while in flight. If you have something that tells you the amount of flight time left, you should notice it go up. Just thought I would share that.

    If typing /doh somehow lags your computer then yes, you will fly slower.

    This silly thread needs more Simpsons pictures.

    And the results are in!

    Flying from Felwood -> Ashenvale took (in seconds)...

    • 80.8764 (no /dohs)
    • 80.9096 (entering /doh every ~1 second)

    Flying from Ashenvale -> Felwood took (in seconds)...

    • 79.3840 (no /dohs)
    • 79.1270 (entering /doh every ~1 second)

    If there was a drop in speed it doesn't seem significant enough to stand out from the small experimental error.

    If you want to try the experiment for yourself, you can use the following macros:

    Start Timer:
    PHP Code:
    /run debugprofilestart() DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Flight Timer Started!"
    Stop Timer:
    PHP Code:
    /run DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Flight took "..(debugprofilestop() / 1000).." seconds."
    Pick a short flight path and use the start macro as you leave the ground. When you reach the end, use the stop macro. Do it twice along the same route, once spamming /doh and once not doing anything.
