Post items with enchants in chat

Go to any item on wowhead, ex. Warglaive of Azzinoth - Items - World of Warcraft Click the “GET LINK” button and get something like this:

/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(”Shift-click this link to put into chat: \124cffff8000\124Hitem:32837:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h[Warglaive of Azzinoth]\124h\124r”);

Now you need an enchant for that item, ex. Enchant Weapon - Executioner - Spells - World of Warcraft

Scroll down to “Effect”, you see “Enchant Item Permanent (3225)”.
In the item link from earlier, replace 3225 with any of the first 5 zero’s in 0:0:0:0:0:0:0, dont edit to last 2 zero’s.

you can link the item but only you will see it with the enchants you added, kinda disappointing.

It was cool back in 2.3 to see an item with 3 mongooses. I wonder what that would look like.

you can also use addon:Itemmagics and simply input itemid:enchantid and it will make a small fram with a preview of the item

to fix the addon so its not out of date anyomore locate the file ItemMagic.toc and open it whit notpad and replace the text in it with the text blow here

yep this is stickied, and i'm looking into how well it works in 2.4

EDIT: i updated http://www.itemlink.uni.cc/ to work better with 2.4, just paste the text into a macro, and hit it while you're typing your message
(as soon as i figure out why the tooltip is borked i'll fix that too)
