[Rogue] Griefing Tactic

I haven't seen this posted here, and I did a search with no results, so here goes:

The Method:
1. Gouge.
2. Feint.

Now you have a tagged mob with zero aggro on you. If any other player does something in the mob's aggro radius (heal, buff, etc.), it will switch to them. This is really fun to use in the crowded quest areas of Quel'Danas, as it allows you to tag quest mobs and let other players kill them for you. Then you can go around and loot them when they're done.

This is a great tactic to use on the Fire Elementals at the Throne of Kil'Jaeden. Here, other players don't really care who has the mob tagged since they can get their quest done anyway, and you get to loot all the motes of fire they drop. Great primal farming.

If you want to kill other players, try using it on the Felblood elites in the same area.

I like this better than Vanishing because you keep the tagged mob.

Will this work with a druid? Mine is only lvl 50 but what if I just run up to a target, hit it once, then cower?

I'll try it and let ya'll know what happens.

I just tried this on my druid in Un'Goro using my Faerie Fire(Feral) on a Dimetrie thing (looks like a giant lizard with a fin) and when the mob got close I used Cower and it almost immediately ran to a nearby player who was attacking a Pterodax. It did hit me one or two more times before the pally took agro, but I think it may have been only because she used an ability. I don't think this will work if you're trying to attract the mob to a player who is AFK, or being still...

Yup, he said in his description that the player has to do something. I'm going to try this (recently got my rogue to 70).

I've done this since it stopped working to just run to a player and Vanish.

You don't even need to gouge, just pull them with your body, run up to whoever you want to kill, and Feint a few times while standing on top of them.

The point with using Gouge is that you tag the mob, making other people kill your mob for your loot and quest credit.

pleas read before flaming somting, and vanishing dousnt work 50% of the time the mob wil simply run back to were it was becaus blizzard fixed that a long time ago
