Large Increase in DPS: Kael Encounter

This is a Complete C+P Post
    C+P'd from Here
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Exploit is Relatively Pointless But it Works

To understand this exploit, you may need to have a rudimentary understanding of the Kael'thas encounter.

The bug is simple enough, and serves little purpose beyond unfair advantage in topping the DPS meters as any class with a DoT effect (although, in case of Shadow Priests like me, it serves as that much extra mana return).

All of Kael's advisers (Thaladred the Darkener, Master Engineer Telonicus, Grand Astromancer Capernian and Lord Sanguinar) die in phase one. Their corpses are un-clickable.

    The bug:
DoT effects continue for the duration left when any of the Advisors die. IE- A warlock may, at 10%, refresh all of his DoTs or better yet, put up Curse of Doom. Shadow Priests refresh SW:Pain, Vamp Touch, Starshards if applicable.

Warlocks, fellow Priests, enjoy that much extra damage in the meters.

    Yours,
    Alkhara Majere
    Vaeritas

PS- Unsure if this can also be done as each adviser dies in Phase 3.

This is probably due to the fact that the game doesn't register the npc's as DEAD dead, since in the script of the encounter, he gets ressed. I wouldn't be surprised if this same rule applied to say, the boss in SM cath before he is ressed by whitemane. It is a nice find though, and yeah for a shadow priest that is a good little bit of extra mana.

I know it works on the Romeo and Juliet encounter in Kara for their initial "deaths".

However I'm not sure how at most 1 dot cycle can be considered large DPS increase, especially on a long fight like Kael.
