Blizzard saves your character every Tuesday because people get hacked or delete there character and regret it.

I had the idea of making my account looked like it got hacked.

I deleted all my bags, cleared my bank, deleted my professions, and gave all my gold/gems/primals to a friend.

I even had a friend in cali login just in case they checked IPs, im in Georgia.

After deleting all my stuff, I put in a ticket saying I was keylogged recently and had to reformat my computer, and when I tried to play WoW my character was stripped.

The GM said it would like 2-3 days but ended up only taking a few hours.


They reset my character to it had been last Tuesday.

I HAD ALL MY GOLD BACK AND ALL MY PRIMALS ETC.

I also had all the gold/primals i had given to my friend. ^.^



Summary:
•Strip character, even bank.
•Give valuables to a friend
•Tell GM you got keylogged.
•GM restores your character to the most recent Tuesday.
•Profit.

Your friend is taking a HUGE big risk in holding your items. Give it a few more days or a week, and theres a chance they will see logs of 'someone' sending all ur stuff to your friends account, and they will take action on his account.

Not a bad idea, but not good for the other account.

No action has been taken on his account, atleast nothing yet.

yea this is stupid ur friend is going to get banned and if they figure out that u were in on it u will get banned

very risky imo but congrats if it worked out for you. must be one of those things that either you are lucky or you get banned

hmmmmm that is a good idea, but if for some reason they r watching ur account and see that the "random person" gave you ur stuff back after blizzard gave it back to you, they will probably think something is up, but thats a good idea...

Blizz does not monitor such transactions so closely. On a case that he did give all the stuff to one person, have him simply hold the materials for a few days, mail them off to his own bank toon or something.

From there, it would be safe to say you'd been hacked. Just have your friend send give them back from another character or have a 3rd friend hand them off....

Blizz is just like any other person who works. They'll do what they have to, but nothing more, nothing less. People these days are lazy asses. The odds of someone tracking an item (or two) much less them being shards or something like that, is EXTREMELY low.

Ya kinda cool quick easy money but you wont be able to do this more than once im guessing and if you get actually hacked they might question you more. But good job pulling it off.

What you could do to improve upon this, is if you have an extra account, log on that account at a friend's house and send the ore/primals/gold/whatever to that account, one that you're not afraid to have actioned.

Well, give it to an IRL friend and say /2 giefing awaiyz freee primalz andz goldz
Then have your mate whisper you as some1 said
Now just take a not on that he have got stuff for maybe 1000g, he should sell it or use it and keep the gold and only send it if you need it. Preferably you could tell him to buy mats or gems on his account and send the gems/mats to you. That way he won't send the stuff you gave him back.
Guess some of you don't understand this but meh ^^
